Greencreek is a small farming
community about 6 or 7 miles northeast of Cottonwood. The
cemetery, for the use of the members of St. Anthony's Parish of the
Roman Catholic Church, was founded in June of 1899. Joseph Schmidt
donated three acres for a church, Edmund Sonnen donated three acres just
opposite for a school and Joseph Nuxoll donated one acre for the
cemetery. |
