Idaho
County Free Press Thursday,
June 25, 1925 OBITUARY Miss
Mary Jane Greenfield was born in
the state of Kentucky, November 9, 1857 and died at Spokane, Wa., June 20, 1925. She moved with her parents
to Missouri where she was united in marriage to Thomas O'Kelley, March 7, 1889.
To this union four children were born, three girls and one son; Fred, Jessie,
Willie, and Helen. She united with the
Christian Church when but a girl, and has lived a consistent Christian life to
the hour of her death. She was a kind mother
and a faithful and dutiful wife. He said, "You need not fear of saying too
much about her." She came with her family to
Grangeville in 1912. She united with the Christian Church as soon as she came.
Sixty-eight years is a good age, especially when most of that was spent in the
Master's service. She leaves three brothers,
a husband, four children and a son-in-law to mourn her loss. Besides these, she leaves a
host of friends. She was much loved by this church and all who knew her. Funeral services were held
at the Christian Church, Grangeville, June 23, 1925, Rev. O.A. Ishmael
officiating. Interment was made in Prairie View Cemetery-Contributed. Submitted by Chris Cornett |
