DEATH OF C.C. JESSY

C.C. Jesse, father of P.N. Jesse, who resides just at the edge of town, passed away. Monday.  The deceased was a man of seventy years of age and had grown quite feeble.  Funeral services were held at the Baptist church Wednesday and the remains laid to rest in the local cemetery.  A large number of friends were present to pay their last respects to a kind father and a good citizen.
