FATAL ACCIDENT

Grangeville Standard:  A fatal accident, resulting in the killing of Mrs. Douglas Johnson occurred in Lake District last Tuesday morning.  From the meager information received your reporter can not give particulars at this time, only that the horse the lady was driving to a cart became frightened and ran away, throwing her out and breaking her skull.  She was discovered by the little son of Mr. Mort  Martin.  She was unconscious when found, and lived but an hour after being found.  The funeral will be held at Denver (Idaho) today at 2 o’clock.  Deceased leaves a husband and four sons and four daughters to mourn her sad and untimely death.
