Marvin Kaufman Dies
at Home
Coeur D’Alene – Marvin Kaufman
43, former Grangeville resident, died of a self-inflicted bullet wound at his
home April 26.
He was born in Noris, S.D., to Mr. And Mrs. Otto Kaufman.
The family moved to Grangeville when he was young, he attended school
here. He worked in construction and
logging in Grangeville and in construction at Coeur d’Alene.
He was married to the former Bonnie Dunn at Orofino.
She and a son, Bill, survive at the family home in Coeur d’Alene.
Other survivors are his mother, Mrs. Martha Kaufman, of Salem, Ore.; three
brothers, Vern of Grangeville, Howard of Fenn and Bob of Spokane, four sisters,
Sharon Knivila, Australia, Shirley Gilchrist, Salem, June Fiese, Albuquerque, N.
Mex., and Irene Kaufman, Spokane.
A brother Kenneth, and his father preceded him in death.
The funeral was Saturday in Coeur d’Alene.
