Free Press, December 10, 1914 COTTONWOOD RESIDENT DIES J.H. Ring who has been for 18 years a citizen of Idaho county, died at his residence in Cottonwood last Friday morning. He originally farmed in the Greencreek section where he owned a 320 acre farm. The deceased is a native of the south, coming from North Carolina and first locating in the Palouse country and later making his home on the prairie where he won a vast number of friends who admitted his integrity and splendid character. The funeral was held in Cottonwood last Sunday from the I.O.O. F. hall and was under the joint auspices of the Knights of Pythias and Odd Fellows lodges of which he was a member. |
