Clearwater Tribune - Orofino, Idaho January 17, 2002 Submitted by Deb Starr Patricia A. Taylor, 79, Lewiston Patricia A. Taylor of Lewiston died Jan. 10, 2002 at the home of her daughter in Orofino. She was 79. Pat was born April 28, 1922 at Grangeville to Everett and Doris chase Chaney. She grew up in the Mount Idaho, Grangeville and White Bird areas, graduating from White Bird high School and attending business college at Lewiston. She married e. mark Taylor in July of 1943. During their 55 years of marriage they owned the Skookumchuck ranch near White Bird, a trailer court and a portable rock crusher. The couple also lived in Alaska, Idaho, Nevada, California, Mexico and Canada, following mark's construction jobs. Pat was always cheerful and ready to move as the time came, telling mark the heavy boxes were his books and not to complain. Mark preceded her in death in October of 1998. Pat enjoyed camping, working in her yard, her flowers and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Starr, Orofino; son-in-law Darrel Starr, Orofino; granddaughter Amanda Starr and grandson-in-law to be, Shelby Willson, both of Craigmont; aunt and sister-in-law, Lucille Chaney Taylor and many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will take place Saturday, Jan. 26 from 1 to 4 p.m. at 1424 main Street in Lewiston. Bring a favorite dish, drink, stories or pictures to share.
