Idaho County Free Press, 01/22/1942 Robert L. Yriberry, 27, killed Dec. 24, during a Japanese raid on Wake Island, was a former Grangeville boy, well known to many local people. He was the son of "Frenchy" Yriberry, Boise, and Mrs. James Pearson, Spokane, and a nephew of Mrs. C. F. VanSise and Mrs. John Mundt, Lewiston, and Frank Howard, Grangeville. Yriberry attended Grangeville high school, graduated from Clarkston, Wn., high school and Boise Business College.
