Friends and relatives of Arlan “Doc” Smith are invited to attend a memorial service for “Doc” at Heikkila Funeral Home in McCall on Monday, Sept. 24, 2012, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.
“Doc,” of Bullhead City, Ariz., formerly of Long Valley, died on Aug. 13, 2012, after a long and eventful life.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Lung Association in Arlan Smith’s name.
